Hey freshmen! I’m Katherine Yang, running to be your secretary this year. Throughout middle school events like spirit weeks, I observed that many students don’t actively participate. As secretary, I want to create enjoyable activities where students impact decision-making. This year, I’m in multiple homecoming events! Outside of school, I have tons of leadership experience, volunteering for 300+ hours in the past three years alone. With leadership experience at Miller, where I organized the most attended dance since 2019, and as a captain and assistant coach of the Miller soccer team, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, teamwork, and event planning.
